ZIARA (Begegnung)

Ziara, means devotees visiting a marabout and establishing a  celebration in his Zaouia „shrine“. Kicks off the ceremony with dinner (Usually Kouskous and lamp meat)  and reading the Koran, and then they start the religious singing and music playing, which has a hypnosis effect on some listeners.
